I like working on a variety of knitting projects, all at the same time. Around this time of year, I get involved in an employee craft fair where I can sell my knitting. It occurs the same time every year, yet each year I once again procrastinate so that I’m knitting everything the month before the fair. One would think that I would use the whole year to build up inventory, so that I could make lots to sell. But that’s just not my style.

So this year, I’m at the point where I need to make a lot of stuff quickly. Hence, the idea of a headband has entered my brain. I shall make fabulous knitted headbands, in a unique stitch, using a pattern I have created. All on circulars, and incorporating short rows so the back of the headband is narrower than the front.

The idea is much simpler than the actual headband.

I’ve found similar patterns to what I want, but they’re not coming out the way I envisioned. And I’m using linen stitch, so it’s totally complicating things.

Looks like I may be knitting more headband experiments to get it just right. I’ll post some pics soon if I can get it just right.
