This was the first go around for the neckwarmer I’m designing, which I wanted to look like ivy vines and leaves. I’ve been thinking it looks too chunky, so the past couple of days I have been knitting up a swatch with thinner cables. The knitting part is going well, but writing out the chart has been a little more complicated. Creating the chart for the leaves is quite the project.
This is the new swatch, along with my cat.
I also have been thinking lately about designing a slouchy cowl. But I want to finish this neckwarmer first. And I think I may design a hat based on the one Kate Beckinsale wore in Cold Comfort Farm. We’ll see how much I can get done.
