I started writing a column for the AHS Weekly, my high school newspaper, when I was a freshman. I called it Strange Thoughts. My original intention was to write about strange and weird things. But my “thoughts” tended to be more ordinary than strange. Then, the column transformed into my space to talk about anything I wanted to.

When I went to college, the column followed, and ended up in the Arts section of the college newspaper. From there, it has made itself known on the Internet on my own website, but as I never updated it, it didn’t get too far.

And that is why I have decided to create this blog. I feel that it will be a way for me to write this column whenever I want to, in addition to letting other people respond to it. I hope that some of the people I knew from high school will find this blog and feel a twinge of happiness that I have kept it going. I invite all to comment and hope that my long lost friends will find this new incarnation of Strange Thoughts a great improvement from its former self.
