Strange thoughts is back. Again.

I know, it’s been a while. It started in high school, took a hiatus, then came back at UNH for a few years in “The New Hampshire” (the college paper). Then, it went on hiatus again, only to come back as a blog on blogspot. But I never really like the blogspot design, and so I went on hiatus again.

But now I’m back, and better than ever, on my new wordpress site. And while I’m at it I’m launching something brand new. It’s the blog for my adventures in knitwear design, called kianaesthetics. I’ve been slowly creating patterns here and there, mostly for myself and for craft shows at work. I’m hoping to get more crafty over the next few years and turn it into something fantastic. The blog will keep you updated on what I’m currently working on and any new patterns that are available to download or buy.

I’ve already got a few pattterns for sale on Ravelry, a social media website specifically created for knitters and crocheters. If you aren’t on Ravelry and you are into knitting/crocheting, you should definitely check it out. It’s totally free, and has forums, patterns, groups and tons of fun ways to share your current knitting projects with others.

Strange Thoughts is pretty much the same as before, with even better writing. It’s definitely better than when I wrote it 20 years ago.

I hope that you all will share in my new endeavors and follow along as I work my way through life, being as creative as possible. I hope to be adding a few extras to the blog, such as a mailing list and some lookbooks for my new knitting collections (as they’re finished). Stay tuned!
