The weather has turned on us. One would think that since it’s winter, it would snow. Alas, no. It is raining, and it sounds like the world is turning itself inside out. Wind is blowing in from all directions, lawn chairs are flying off porches, the window panes are rattling and I swear the electricity is going to go off before I’m done with this blog. The lights have started to flicker so I have a candle lit just in case.

It may seem like I’m complaining about weather like this, but I’m not. In fact, I love this type of weather, as long as I don’t have to go outside in it. I love the harshness of the wind, the ferocity of the storm. I think I would even like for the lights to go out. Because that would mean that I would have to do something other than watching television or fiddling around on my computer. Yes, my phone might still function. But if the lights do go out, which I think they might, I can always write my novel, which I desperately need to get back to, or read a book (of which I have many to choose from).

I fear that any second I’ll lose power, and this blog post, so I think I’ll wrap it up. I need to get some things done anyhow.

Maybe tomorrow I’ll have something better to post, and the wind and rain cease and desist.
