I was thinking today that it’s about time I started my own book club. I like reading a lot of different types of books, from fiction, nonfiction, fantasy, and everything in between. If Oprah can have a book club, then so can I.

Since I also like to watch movies, I am going to include movies in this club as well. I am calling it the Kiana club.

I figured this space would be ideal for talking about the different books I am reading. At the moment, I’m in the middle of several. Hopefully I can start finishing them if I know I have to write about them here.

I will also keep a running list of suggested books to read. Books and movies that I think are worthy of my club will be placed on The Kiana List. Please feel free to leave comments about your own experiences with the items on the list, or even with books that you think should be on the list. I am open to suggestion.

Since this is the first day of creating the club, I haven’t had time to compile items for the list yet. But keep checking back, as I hope to update it within the next few days.
