The other day, after yet another squirrel jumped in front of my car and almost got run over, I began to ponder whether squirrels were color blind, and thus did not see my car (as it’s green). That would make perfect sense and explain why in all my years of driving I am only now having a problem with squirrels. I found several websites that suggest they are color blind, but I haven’t found conclusive evidence proving it. Any ideas about this?
